2025 Deru Academy Shaolin Warrior Summer Residence Camp

Shaolin Institute incorporation with DeRu Academy and Shaolin Chan Foundation will host a Shaolin Warrior Resident Training Camp for the next generation of disciplined self-learners and leaders of new generation in humanity. The DeRu Shi Shaolin Institute officially starts the Shaolin warriors’ Resident camp first round selection registration starting on May 15th end on June 13th. All the selection will be held either online through Zoom or onsite at DeRu Shi Shaolin Institute, Atlanta Campus.

The whole exploration of humanity and its potential is not only the external smartness (for example, in the attention to development science and technologies) but most importantly attention to inner mind exploration of cosmic and human consciousness of intelligence and inner wisdom. That is to wake up each of human-beings to see the possible sustainability of humanity for future generations in lieu of blindly seeing and believing this world is mechanical and incidental entropy leading to self-destruction.

Food The Shaolin Institute does not provide food in any capacity to any student. However, out of an abundance of love and friendship, our headmaster purchases and makes an abundance of (vegetarian) snacks and meals that are openly shared with students. All Summer Camp Program students are certainly welcome to partake of this food at their own risk and discretion. Nevertheless, below are some alternative recommendations: For Day Camp students, we recommend that students pack two separate snacks (morning snack and afternoon snack) in addition to lunch. For Overnight Camp students, we recommend that students pack enough snacks and easy-to-make pre-packaged meals to last the duration of the camp, as well as budget money to purchase food outside off campus.
What Else To Bring DAY CAMP: - A pillow for movie time - Medications [NOTE FOR WEEKS 1 - 2: SHAOLIN INSTITUTE STAFF WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF ALL MEDICATIONS AND SECURE THEM OUT OF CHILDREN\'S REACH. STAFF WILL ONLY ADMINISTER MEDICATION IF IT IS IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, AND ACCOMPANIED BY A SIGNED LETTER BY THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN CONTAINING CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON THE TIMING AND DOSAGES THE MEDICATIONS SHOULD BE ADMINISTERED. Residence Overnight Camp: - Sleeping supplies [sleeping bag, blanket, pillow] - Toiletries - Entertainment devices for free time [small handheld game devices, cell phones, headphones, all necessary charging equipment for electronic devices, 1-2 books, etc.; these items, ESPECIALLY CELL PHONES, will NOT be allowed to be used during camp time] - Medications [NOTE FOR WEEKS 1 - 3: SHAOLIN INSTITUTE STAFF WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF ALL MEDICATIONS AND SECURE THEM OUT OF CHILDREN\'S REACH.
